Dr Ashish Fauzdar is an AIIMS, Alumnus, he completed his doctorate in the field of Reproductive Genetics from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. During the years 2002-2008 he did groundbreaking research first time in India, in the field of Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGT-A) through fluorescence in-situ hybridization (FISH) technique while undertaking his research on “Chromosome Aneuploidy & Mosaicism in Preimplantation Embryos” with scientific publications. He has more than 23 years’ experience in the field of laboratory genetics and genomics techniques while working with various academic & research institutions, hospitals, internationally reputed ART/infertility clinics and diagnostic laboratories. He has also authored more than 25 scientific publications in various indexed scientific journals and presentations at various conferences at both national and international level and many chapters in books. He has expertise and reporting skills in the field of genetics & genomics techniques including karyotype, fluorescence in- situ hybridization (FISH), chromosome microarray (CMA) and interpretation skills for clinical exome and whole exome sequencing data performed on various sequencing/ next generation sequencing (NGS) platforms. He regularly takes challenges for providing correct clinical interpretation to the patient reports by decoding the machine data and assisting clinicians to take right action for the best patient management of rare genetic disorders and cancers. Dr. Ashish is also very passionate and devoted for genetic disorders and is on a mission with team of doctors, scientists, and genetic counsellors to reduce the genetic disorder burden in the society through personalized genetic counselling sessions to all the deserving patients. This is available to all patients indicated for further genetic factor evaluation for prenatal screening, non-invasive prenatal screening (NIPT), prenatal diagnosis, amniocentesis/chorionic villus sampling (CVS), pregnancy loss, spontaneous loss, miscarriage recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL), in-vitro fertilization (IVF), intra-uterine insemination (IUI), assisted reproductive technologies (ART), preimplantation genetic testing (PGT-A, PGT- M, PGT-SR), male infertility, female infertility, recurrent implantation failure, recently diagnosed cancer and including rare family genetic disorders.
